November 3, 2016 - Deep garnet colour. The nose is fully-developed, showing pronounced intensity aromas of truffles, black olives, plums jam and strawberry jam.

It is dry in the mouth with a medium acidity. It has medium+ fine-grained tannins and a high alcohol. It is full-bodied with pronounced intensity flavours and a long finish.

It is a very good quality wine. It has a very persistent aftertaste and a lot of flavour concentration that helps to balance the tanninc structure and alcohol strength. However a better example of this style would show more complexity.

Drink now, the nose is already fully-developed, I wouldn't expect it to develop more complexity, albeit it has enough tannic structure to keep it maybe 1-2 years more.

July 10, 2016 - Hunter Valley 2016 Trip #2: Meat, violet and toasty oak. Sweet and savoury fruits mingles well together. Medium intensity and depth. Will show better with a few more years in bottle.
