September 21, 2016 - Seriously good. Toasty oak, homemade butterscotch, ripe apricot and candied orange. Incredible length and depth. Not in a position to do a full tasting note, but beautiful paired with habanero avocado and cabbage at Orphan's Kitchen.

June 23, 2014 - Rich golden yellow. Complex aromas of slate, sea air, lemon and orange rind. On the palate, elegant luxurious fruit with an acid foretaste and long driving finish. A lovely wine.

September 25, 2013 - The Dirty Dozen Tasting 2013 (Il Botaccio, London): Mealy nose with a little toasty oak. Really luxuriant mouthfeel; caresses the palate. Full-bodied but not in the least bit heavy. Astonishing to discover this is 15%: where's it hidden?! Top notch. 17.5/20.
