  March 26, 2022 - Medium yellow with nutty vanilla nose. Initial powerhouse lemon mineral whack that after 2 hours morphed into a creamy stone fruit mid palate with a long subtle hazelnut finish. Paired fantastically with a Halibut Hollandaise emulsion prepared for a family birthday dinner. A bon marriage of Halibut and a killer Meursault, currently at the top of its game. Best now to 2030.

  January 17, 2021 - A very mineral nose on wet stone. With aeration will come the popcorn.
  
  On the palate, it is not the most powerful Meursault that I have drunk, but it has an obvious presence. Quiet strength. In mouth, the attack is honeyed, with a beautiful worked substance and an acidity which brings freshness and tension. The wine remains very young. Wet stone is omnipresent, it feels like licking it, it is extremely pleasant to drink and unfolds its full potential.
  Elegant and strong without being imposing. Very nice finish with a herbaceous touch mixed with citrus fruits which gives a noble length. Excellent.

  September 11, 2020 - #1 of 3 purchased on release. Brought this and the Meursault Charmes to a 1996 Wine Dinner. The Perrieres looked lighter and younger than the Charmes. The initial nose of the Perrieres was filled with minerality and a stoniness that contrasted with the Charmes lush yellow and tropical fruits. Over the next hour the Perrieres’ more elegant presentation was surprisingly overshadowed by the constantly improving Charmes which picked up layers of rich fruit sharpened by crisp acidity and it’s persistent finish.
  
  A remarkable pair of finely made white burgundies drinking at their mature peak and reflecting their true terroir differences.

  March 23, 2019 - Great condition, perfect bottle with no sign of premox. Explosive nose with pop corn and minerals, expansive and complex in the mouth. Nice acidity backbone tied out the whole bottle, immensely pleasurable at the moment.
