December 22, 2017 - Deep red color wine with some deep tannin, dry notes with limited residual sugar notes, some oak with black cherry notes. Very complex with loads of characters.

December 11, 2017 - Well balanced with a medium finish. The tannins now seem fully integrated.

October 17, 2017 - Smells like cheese . The kind with black crust. Not so really nice

August 2, 2017 - Absolutely love this, elegant and light body, intense complex taste, including yoghurt, licorice, overdone fruit, sour feet, mold/forest floor... love these light yet intense burgundy-style tuscan wines..

June 9, 2017 - Medium plus body, typical chianti nose. Very polished and amazingly pure. But first and foremost elegant.

November 22, 2016 - Musty nose of dark fruits. After breathing the flavors are of plum and coffee with nice acidity. The finish improves as it airs. Absolutely delightful wish cheeses and pasta. Will continue to age well.

October 30, 2015 - nice cherries and hint of liqourice flavours. Built around the acidity which makes it an ideal wine with an antipasto plate. was a nice warm up

    Really drinkable!

July 8, 2015 - This wine has settled down a little now and become more of a typical Rosso di Montalcino.

Medium ruby color. Bright red fruit, and dark cherry. Full bodied with very smooth tannins, loads of fresh acidity and some good fruit. Long finish that remains fresh and has a nice spicy twist. Much more integrated now and really great, actually closer to a mini Brunello than most RdM I've ever had. Still quite some life ahead, I'll let my remaining bottles rest for a bit more time!
