September 30, 2022 - The last bottle of a case and this wine has aged really well to be an overachiever in this vintage with enough fruit to give tertiary flavors.
March 14, 2022 - Dark and brooding bordeaux. Smoky nose with dark fruit and refined tannins. Drinking far better than I expected based on the reviews excellent value and drinking very nicely.
October 17, 2021 - Russk. Pablo keeps bring these, not all same vintage. And they are good. 90+ on day 1. 91+ on day 3. Get some.
March 28, 2021 - This bottle has always been a great value in my book. It's still delivering at nearly q8 years of age. It has shed most of its fruit, but has nice secondary notes of damp earth and leather. Finish lingers. Definitely past peak, but still fun to revisit. Drink up. Cellar kept since purchase.

Aging past peak
December 31, 2020 - Started out hollow on the mid-palate, but blossomed out quite a bit after 30 minutes in the decanter. Plenty of fruit remains, along with some barnyard and forest notes. Medium finish, tannins still a bit strong, and the acid still keeps things fresh. Very enjoyable and mature St. Emillion that should hold for another five years. Good value.
July 22, 2020 - Still a sleeper with life still in the bottle
December 13, 2019 - Still has lots of life left in it. Great bouquet and fine memorable finish
December 29, 2018 - Wow! This was my last bottle and I wish I had more. This has developed into an incredible example of what a Bordeaux can do. Lots of dark fruit, complex nose of damp earth, powdered cocoa, and bell peppers. Great finish and still plenty of backbone.
September 24, 2018 - On the initial showing this was pretty harsh and reticient. After being open for a couple of days at room temp, this showed much better - nice ripe soft fruit, good earthy complexity and nicely balanced red and black fruits (plum, cherry) . Glad I have another one left and will make sure to air out.
May 29, 2018 - ripe black and minor red fruit, with cedar and earth. Maybe the magnum gave this wine life that isn't there in the 750's. A unique spiciness on the med-long finish. unexpectedly quite enjoyable, still.
