May 27, 2017 - Lovely mature riesling, honey and apples, hint of kero, still has a year or two left in it.

May 4, 2017 - This bottle seems to be a lot more advanced than the last one of these that I opened. Dark golden colour but still pretty good balance. Drink the rest of these soon?

    August 30, 2015 - Lovely.

Noticeably sweet upfront, which is a pleasant reminder of a Germanic riesling as opposed to the sharper South Australian rieslings that I have drunk of late. At $48 a bottle it is very nice. Other people have said it is quite tight and compact, which I would certainly agree with. It also has fantastic length, making it a pleasurable and very easy drink. The trade off for length is the minerality. It is noticeable, and as I don't like minerality, it is the only reason why I haven't scored this wine higher. I'm knit-picking. As for fruit I definitely noticed slight apple, but a lot of nectarine and peaches are more obvious. The texture was silky smooth, almost touching syrupy, nut no where near the silkiness of a desert wine - silky for interest.

A lovely Riesling, shame I didn't have more than 1 bottle.

April 20, 2015 - Retailer tasting (Vianen): Beautiful Riesling bouquet with yellow tropical fruits. On the palate the same. Very full bodied, but more heavy than elegant. Good citrus and nicely dry. Could be compared with a dry fermented German Spätlese. Very good wine, although I would prefer a little more elegant style.
