January 17, 2019 - 2 hour slow ox. Nose: Initially big cherry aromas like Ludens cough drops which was interesting. After some glass air aromas of soft cherry, minerals and a bit of meaty/sauvage qualities show. Great nose for a village level Burg. Palate: Still good and present acids and soft evolved tannins with the cherry in the background and subtle minerals. Last bottle of this and drinks great now. Very elegant and went great with duck medallions. 91+ points.

August 18, 2016 - Holding steady with my notes from 12/13/15. Still holding well for a village level Burg. Last bottle will sit another year or more. This went great with shrimp and asparagus penne pasta, and a baguette.

December 13, 2015 - Nose: Very perfumy/floral aromas with dark cherry (almost candied) and hints of cassis. Palate: While very good on pop and pour this really opened up with air and revealed soft, red fruits (mostly dark cherry) and soft, yet supportive tannins and acids. Finish is light to medium and very elegant. Actually less secondary than the last bottle (notes on 11/5/13) and still a solid 91 points.

November 20, 2015 - Will by more if it come back through WTSO. For < $20 its fantastic. The nose sets you up for a bit more. It is a little thin and simple on the palate. But... for the price, its a great cellar defender.

January 7, 2015 - Clear cherry-berry color. In the nose rather simple Pinot with just a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, acidity dominates the fruit with just a hint of sour cherry. A well-made wine that has probably spent its entire life in stainless steel — i.e., no discernable oak. Best to drink in the short run before the fruit fades away.
