May 30, 2018 - Dried Fruits. A green note. Medium body. A bit astringent on the finish.
January 9, 2018 - Colour: cherry red, fading to brick red/orange
Nose: plum, cassis. Tinned tomato, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce. Dried orange peel, sweet spice, old oak. Forest floor, leathery, earthy. Savoury and evolved.
Palate: cassis, plum, blackberry. Tomato. Touch of black olive. Sweet spice, dried orange peel. Earthy, leathery, evolved. Fresh berry like acidity, firm drying structural tannins. 13,5% alcohol. Lovely. Very good value for the price.
October 22, 2017 - 4/5 - very nice aromas, and structure, starting to show its age. more dried fruit notes. Great flavours and feel.

October 11, 2016 - Rich, smokey and spicy, there's plenty going on here. Lashings of black olive, vine tomato and cassis but also a dark, intense Syrah-esque spice that makes this well rounded and complex. Personally, it's been over-extracted (personal opinion, I appreciate some don't mind this) yet still it's one of the most characterful wines I've tried from Greece. As others have said, it's got a good few years ahead of it ***1/2
September 18, 2016 - Travelling along just nicely thank you very much.
Popped and poured at around 14 degrees, hint of American oak on the nose that is well judged, some prunes, touch of beetroot. Silky entry, nice fine-boned acidity on entry holds everything together; the wine has put on a bit of weight, medium bodied, some leaf, plums, prune and tar on the midpalate, tannins have mostly resolved, however there is still a baby's grip at the end.
Feel like this has hit its prime, and will probably stay here for another 2-3 years in a good cellar. QPR king, such a wonderful wine for the price.
July 13, 2016 - much better than the 2011 I drank last week, presumably because of the extra bottle age. I will try to delay drinking my 2011s for a year or two.
May 30, 2016 - Decanted for an hour and it rounded it out very nicely. I think that it could last a year or two but it has given me new reason to look for other wines from Greece.
March 27, 2016 - What SWAGGERING said. I'd add that it had a bit of basement (brett) that seemed to fade the second night. Overall I liked it better after some air.
March 15, 2016 - Lean and taut, but tasty, with red fruits (chiefly cherry), faint oak, and some earthy minerality. This wine could easily be mistaken for a Burgundy or an Oregon Pinot Noir. Good QPR at $13 from B-21.
