September 12, 2022 - 200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): Wow, so deep and complex, so precise, lemon curd, flinty elements. Elegant and precise palate. As good as it gets. Wow wine!

March 3, 2019 - Great showing. Everyone loved this wine - classic meursault. likely on the downhill at this point, given its deep color and butterscotch flavor, but by no means OTH.

December 30, 2012 - Beautiful gold, no orange. In short, this wine was FREAKING spectacular. Incredibly and almost overwhelmingly complex, the nose sings you back to the [Sirens'] rocks: breathe more of it in, for we have already breathtaken you... No air left gotta go back and try for more. Butterscotch, orange blossom, lime, seawater, oyster shells, coconut, hazelnut butter -- it just goes on and on, nonstop. Most important of all, though, is a Riesling-like crystalline transparency, clarity, and precision. Wow! I felt like I was boots-deep in the vineyard. The palate is ripe and rich, just as it should be, utterly silken with frankly stunning inner-palate perfume; killer Meursault nuts, toffee, white flowers. Wonderfully long, with superb balance. The oak is there, but is integrated and complementary; maybe I would have used 49% instead of 50% new oak, or whatever. I couldn't have enjoyed this more. Boillot and Leflaive are the best white Burg producers I have ever experienced. (Old old Remoissenet, 30 yrs+ old, too.). This is one of the Perrieres wines that prove the Grand Cru quality of this vineyard. Done.

August 6, 2010 - Similar to prior experience 5 years ago (!). Pretty close to perfect chardonnay. Wonderful butter, acid balance. A slight touch of smoke. Lingering, clean finish.

June 26, 2007 - With boiled lobster. The wine cuts through the fattiness of the lobster and it is a marvelous wine. Crisp, beautfifully balanced and very, very elegant.

June 20, 2007 - Wow, what a wine. This is what I dream about when I drink white wine. A gorgeous nose of fruit, but not heavy fruit and not oak. Then a beautiful palate of minerals, balanced acidity, light fruits and much complexity. Refreshing and at the same time, very engrossing.

September 4, 2006 - Great Chardonnay. Enjoy it more than any California Chard. Rich, nutty, smokey nose with some oak. Wonderful restrained fruit on the palate with great complexity and wonderful marriage of nuts, smoke, fruit and oak.

January 29, 2006 - White Burgundy - Blind Tasting of 24+ wines from 1996 and 2000: Tasted single blind. Huge nose of yellow fruits - pineapple, pear, honey. Certainly not shy - almost electric. Seamless and balanced, despite it's size. Fantastic wine. The group's wine of the flight. Note: I was amazed by how much more impressive this wine was, compared with Boillot's '00 Puligny Clos Mouchere and Meursault-Genevrieres (See TNs) in the previous flight.

January 4, 2006 - The wine has execllent acidy and balance with lemon and stone....Outstanding minerality...the only negative that I heard at the table was a finish that lacked enough punch.

September 17, 2005 - Cedar nose. Honeydew, starfruit, lemon and stoney minerals in the pallette. Elegant and contained. Quick finish. A truly spectacular wine and a great value at $60.
