March 16, 2024 - Off a wine list with steak. Great, but didn't bring as much joy as the 2014 Couly-Dutheil Clos de l'Echo did recently. Made me wonder if this wine is in some transitional state, but in a busy restaurant it's never easy to focus.

February 14, 2024 - Decanted 3hrs. Pours a deep purple, developing, intense aromas of crushed chalk, bell pepper, fresh and cooked raspberry, black currant, tobacco, lilac, white pepper, dry earth, vanilla, and cedar. In the mouth, the wine is dry, med acid, med + tannins, med + body, med alc, pronounced intensity on the palate with a medium finish. Overall, very good, can drink now, but definitely would benefit from some time in the cellar (10+yrs). I'd say this is just starting to creep into the drinking window. Best on day three after rebottling, the fruit really came out and balanced with the floral notes of the wine.

January 4, 2024 - Super expressive after a 30 minute decant and over the next hour. Drinking really nicely

November 14, 2023 - Nose: Blackcurrant, deep dark fruit.

Taste: Blackcurrant. Lots of tannins, but very well-integrated. A bit light. Short finish.

September 20, 2023 - (SYP) blind tasting. Guessed 2015 Loire Valley Cabernet Franc.
Noticeable notes of plastic and earthy herbs, along with vanilla and a hint of blue fruit and tobacco. It is delicate and red fruited on the palate.
