June 27, 2019 - This wine just keeps getting better as it ages. Has a lot of life left but can be enjoyed now with at least an hour decant.

April 30, 2017 - Enjoyed over two hours. Deep purple. Medium bodied. Berry flavors and smooth finish. A very good wine, with an upgrade for excellent value. Versatile and ready to drink now.

November 19, 2016 - Upon first opening, had clear marks of rioja, with a bit of that tobacco and leather on the nose and palate, mixing with sun-kissed red fruits. However, with a few hours, it lost a lot of those savory notes, and showing a bit more spice, coming out more like a new world grenache. No real "flaws" with the wine, but it failed to impress, lacking presence.

July 17, 2016 - Decanted 1 hour. Still young. Medium bodied. Good flavors. A little tight. Enjoyed but will wait 1 year for next bottle to allow it to flesh out.

April 8, 2015 - Strong nose! Menthol and blackberry to the nose. Blackberry and spice to taste. Great body. Lasting. Smooth to finish. Tannins, spice at the end. Tannins and spice stand out a little intensely. Needs to sit two more years to really impress.
