September 21, 2013 - On the nose, black cherries, cassis, mushroom, some cedar and vanilla. Much oak on the palate. Medium body and medium finish. Classic Bordeaux style.

    GRAPE VARIETIES: MERLOT
    ALCOHOL BY VOLUME: 13%

Clear, medium ruby in the glass. Ripe black fruit on the nose (black cherry, black plum) with additional notes of almond plus oak-related tobacco and mocha. Dry on the palate with medium(+) level of acidity and medium level of ripe tannin. Slightly hollow and oak-dominated, but not a bad effort at all. Nice liquorice-note of the medium-long finish.
