January 12, 2014 - Clear and of medium garnet in color. Nose was of medium plus intensity with notes of earth, plum, violet, blackberry and spice. The was is dry with high acidity and high tannins that are fine and persistent. Very astringent. Palate of plum, blackberry and stewed fruits. Finish is short. Needs time to settle.
