April 10, 2014 - Helping a friend with a north-east Italian Wine List; 4/3/2014-4/10/2014 (TBD): Purple in color with some ruby. Black cherries and clack licorice on the nose. Ripe fruit. Dusty black raspberries on the palate. Dusty, slight heat on the finish. Tons of tannins. This needs some cellar time IMO to really show. Love to revisit in 10 years.
