January 8, 2022 - Rosemary and thyme on the nose, dark cherry, forest floor, garrigue on the palate. Very enjoyable wine. Punches way above its modest price point.

  • WineTally wrote:

    April 12, 2020 - 50% Grenache Noir, 40% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre
from old vines 60 yrs Grenache, 20-40 yrs others.
    Aged 12 months in concrete.
    14.5% Abv.
    Producer: SARL Lafage Mas Miraflors
    Proprietors: Jean-Marc and Eliane Lafage

    A(ccuracy)=2: Med/deep purple; GSM, garrigue.
B(alance)=2: Subtle, fading fruit, firm acid structure.
    C(omplexity)=2: Tobacco, pepper, dried herb.
D(epth)=1: Sinewy mouthfeel. High tone astringent finish.

    Wine Tally Score [2,2,2,1] = 7/10

Wondering what "garrigue" is all about? This is it.

July 4, 2019 - Based on drinking the 2015, this was probably once much better, now getting dull. Still decent but doesn't shine like the 2015. Drink up if you've got it.

May 5, 2019 - Not as well received as what other reviewers noted. Perhaps a bad bottle? Too harsh and uninteresting for me.

July 18, 2018 - Good QPR still going strong. Lots of garrigue with the fruit.
