September 13, 2020 - Thought this was very good, was a bit closed to start with but opened up nicely over a couple of hours. Beautifully balanced, seamless and silky, length to burn, minerals and spice, forest floor and black cherries. Didn’t feel 10 years old to me at all, think this will be even more special in years to come.

March 24, 2015 - Top 100 Farewell Dinner 2015 (Rodwell House): (Tasted Blind): An intense and penetrative nose with aromas of ripe, leather, stewed plums, mineral, bilberry and raspberry. Darker fruits on the palate, there is a lot of whole-bunch characteristics, some briny elements with fresh earth, sandalwood and a rising menthol. Well structured with fine, initially grippy tannins, elegant, upright and super silky towards as the wine opens in glass. Still youthful, this full-bodied Pinot has the muscular frame to keep longer. Wonderful depth to it
