April 8, 2023 - At its prime and drinking very well right now. Nice deep color in the bowl. Black cherries, black currants and licorice with some earthy notes in the nose. Lots of dark fruits in the flavor, well balanced and an extremely smooth finish. A great food wine.

August 19, 2021 - With Lamb loin chops…..Dark Cherries, earth, slight chalk,Graphite, licorice, bell peppers.
90 minutes in……. it is more integrated and showing nice sweetness and lots of Black Currants. Lovely……strong with velvet glove not over polished but still showing terroir. Decided to give this an additional point as it was very memorable.

August 22, 2015 - no notes but we enjoyed this bottle immensely. Totally integrated tannins. Showing beautifully.

December 4, 2011 - Decanted for about 30 min before tasting. Paired with a BBQ rib eye and while something a little bigger might have stood up better, this wine paired nicely. Drinking very well now, and I don't see it benefiting much from more time in the bottle. The wine is wonderful, and well worth the price.

March 15, 2011 - Certainly smooth and soft tannins. However, the fruit was not strong enough to overcome the oak. OK, but a little disappointing.
