June 8, 2019 - Beautiful wine, nice combo of power and elegance. Dark red fruits, rocks style funk on nose and just pure syrah goodness from start to finish. Drinking beautifully with plenty of life left.

April 25, 2019 - Explosive nose of smokey bacon fat and dark fruits. Flavors of black raspberry, dark fruits, complex minerality and savory meat notes. I almost swear I tasted rust. Very enjoyable.

Every time I asked my wife to smell it she took a big sip and and said , “wow, that is so good” “bacon fat” , and “minerality”, compared to her usual “its good”! Funny.

February 9, 2019 - Great smokey base to complement to dark blackberry and licorice notes. Olive tapenade on the finish give a saline quality to this rich, complex wine.

January 29, 2019 - This was difficult to drink. Lacked the tannic or acidic structure to hold the fruit together.

October 27, 2018 - Matter of taste (London): Pepper, spices, with a whiff of burnt tyres or rather smoke (?) and black Nyons olives. Great fruit, soft in the mouth, medicinal hints and a clear note of spearmint. Acidity on the low side so for me the perfection is missing. Still a great wine.
