February 16, 2020 - Lively and fresh. Good acid and structure. No flaws for the price.
Couldn’t stop drinking this even though I had to get up early the next morning because I wanted to make sure my friends didn’t drink it all.
March 30, 2019 - Mouth puckering sour cherries at first pour, it took a lot of airing out until it mellowed out.
Nice but definitely a "food wine" with cherry and cranberry fruit very prominent. Much calmer the second day.
Acids overwhelmed what other flavors other tasters seemed to find.
November 6, 2017 - Corked
April 22, 2016 - Clean red fruits--raspberry, strawberry, black cherry--on the palate, with a Nebbiolo style finish.
October 8, 2015 - So easy drinking. Great for pasta on a Tuesday night.
March 19, 2015 - No detailed notes, but I remember it was very good!
March 3, 2015 - Simple, cost effective and quaff-able.
January 25, 2015 - On the first night, I popped and poured this wine, aerating through a funnel on the way to the glass. On the nose were black berries, earth a little blueberry. On the palate the fruit was up front. Surprisingly mid-weight considering it's mostly babbera.
On night two a very different wine. Much more spicy on the nose with a pronounced pine element on the palate. Intriguing.
January 18, 2015 - Nice, I enjoyed it. Crisp, tart red fruits, herbs, spice, nice acidity. For $16, bio, and non-interventionist winemaking, a nice buy. Good with roast chicken, roasted fresh carrots with fresh tarragon, and sautéed rapini.
January 7, 2015 - Good, not great, bottle of wine. Reasonably cheap so no QPR complaints. Popped and poured. Relatively high alcohol level at 14%. Quaffer. Vacuvinned and will drink over multiple nights.
