January 10, 2016 - Light and mild.
November 4, 2015 - Deep red color, 90% opacity. Rustic aromas of cedar and rainforest creek bed. Rich blackberry, chocolate and rust flavors with a faint butterscotch and waffle finish. This is a wine that rewards patient contemplation.
April 27, 2015 - A little inconsistency among 4 bottles, but decent for the price and a big hit among some non-serious wine drinkers around the fire pit.
December 4, 2014 - For $5 you can't go wrong. It's a simple wine with cherry and a little spice. There's not much else to this wine but it works with a red meat summer BBQ.
November 8, 2014 - Very nice spice. Well balanced.
October 11, 2014 - Better than most Aussie wines. Definitely has the Aussie elements but more balance and structure.
August 27, 2014 - Not a complex wine. It is smooth and has good flavor and well worth the less than $7 prIce from Trader Joe. Just enjoyed this bottle while sitting in the yard, on Wed evening, chatting with friends. Everyone enjoyed it, nothing stunning, just an easy wine.
June 5, 2014 - the warm spicy finish was noticeable and nice but it was not a complex wine and the finish did not last long.
April 18, 2014 - Not much different from last night, what I think of as a basic Aussie wine. Dark fruit, black pepper, licorice, adequate acidity. Hint of charred oak on the finish. Solid value @ $4 from Trader Joes.
April 8, 2014 - This was good, the kind I'd serve at a party because most people would like it just fine. Not really complex but not cheap tasting either. Just $3.99 at Trader Joes but drinks like a wine at 3-4 times the price. Juicy, almost no tannins.
