March 17, 2017 - A bombastic blueberry pie laced with chocolates and acetone. Syrupy and Porty, though it holds its jaminess with style. About as far from subtle as possible. Finishes hot, but there is some decent acidic structure. Seems impossible to match with food, though venison with a blackberry sauce would probably do the trick. Not a style I enjoy, but I can understand its appeal. This will develop further.

March 2, 2014 - This wine was surprisingly good. Not as jammy as some other old vine fruit and nicely balanced fruit. Really enjoyed this with a steak.
