April 4, 2015 - Good fruit. Decent finish. Lots of new oak. If this is your thing, then drink now.

November 14, 2013 - Smells and tastes like higher end Australianian. Meaning someone has put it into the place it is.

September 12, 2013 - A blend of 44% Cabernet Franc, 36% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, this opaque crimson wine has a nose of black currants, cocoa and fig. While these aromas are certainly pleasant, there is a "green" element on the nose which is a detriment. Similar flavors follow on the full-bodied palate, including a bell pepper component. The flavors are framed by fresh acidity and medium-weight, astringent tannins. As long as the wine is served at the appropriate temperature (approximately 65° Fahrenheit) the substantial alcohol (14.8%) remains in check. Solid in the middle, the wine concludes with a medium-length, chewy finish. Short-term cellaring would likely be helpful here, but I suspect that there could have been better physiological ripeness of the grapes. Drink 2015-2020.

September 4, 2013 - 40%Cab Franc with Merlot and Cab Sauv. From cooler, southern Napa sites.
Green/eucalyptus aromas. Soft and round palate with much less of a green expression than the aromas.
