February 27, 2023 - PnP. Black cherry, pepper, bit of smoke and earth on then nose. On the palate, tart raspberry/cherry fruit is joined by rubber and iron. Nice weight, grippy finish.

Nobody thought this was new world GSM, which says something about it! Despite being only 5%, the Syrah stood out with its peppery notes. Very tasty GSM blend, spicy and meaty with black fruit. Age has helped it resolve and the wine showed complexity and balance.

October 29, 2022 - PnP at restaurant, no notes taken. Enticing nose; dark red fruit with pepper/spice on the palate; smooth tannins on medium finish. Nice G. GSM blend. Improved with air time.
