November 4, 2023 - 2011. Opened the last bottle last night for dinner. Brownish, mellow and gentle. Truly enjoyable. With these Brunello units patience is key.

December 26, 2021 - 2011 opened for x-mass Reddish brown well matured, softened tannines , smooth yet with a vivid bite. 10 years does the trick. 92 points

August 14, 2021 - Needs a bit of air to come to life, drinking well thereafter. Didn’t decant.
Translucent red with browning rim.
On the nose tertial flavors. Good acidit, more than I would have expected from a warmer vintage.
Fruit profile slightly less pronounced with plum, cherries and stone fruited noticeable. Leather, licorice and tobacco.
Long pleasant finish with good acidity.
Above expectations and while it’s drinking as well as it will I can imagine it could keep this plateau for some years. -

December 20, 2020 - so balanced nice muted fruit on the opening..continued to develop as it remained open and finished with a fine lingering smooth finish..tannins kicked in but did not over power..enjoyed with grilled ribeye beef steak
