July 16, 2023 - Served to K&D for her 60th birthday celebration at the cabin. Medium to medium deep gold, big toasty nose, palate is sublime. Large scaled, long, super balance. Smooth and lithe. Delicious.

November 12, 2022 - Nebbiolos, white truffles, Volume VII (Chicago, IL): Where are my balloon animals? Very reductive on the nose, with that distinct Dom aroma, and some nascent autolytic tones starting to develop as well. Very rich and densely textured, this is taut with acidity and drinks pretty convincingly now already, though I think it doesn't quite have the same concentration as the impressive 2008.

May 7, 2022 - It’s coming along well but could still use a few more years at least since the green acidity sticks out a bit. Excellent energy. Nice perlage and pretty couronne.
