November 25, 2023 - In a beautiful place, but certainly some time left. Definitely showing a more modern, fruit driven style, but it's full of elegance and structure. Glossy dark red fruits with some saddle leather, perhaps less of the volatility and floral notes I would find typical. Gorgeous minerality and very precise and fine tannins. This is unfiltered so do decant cautiously - I thought I was doing so and a school of swimming grape must slithered out!

May 10, 2021 - Fabulous expression of a modern and early-drinking Barolo. Sweet fruit, classic tar and roses varietal expression, a richness and forward ness of fruit density makes way for a still surprisingly tannic structure that feels totally representative of the appellation. I think this is outstanding, and I believe it will improve with further age. A marvellous wine to drink while waiting for the true Barolo vins de garde.
