October 11, 2014 - Very smooth and is drinking well right now. Not overly powerful. Nice fruit and easy to drink.

October 2, 2014 - Notes of strawberries on the nose and palate. Medium light color and body. Good finish.

May 26, 2014 - This bottle was much more restrained than the previous, could a year make that big of difference? It's still a big wine but was manageable. If I had more, this was my last bottle, I'd wait two years because there is no threat of the fruit disappearing and time seems to be kind to this wine.

May 3, 2014 - Perhaps I wasn't in the mood, but I wasn't a fan of this wine. Even at the $20 price point, I've had more enjoyable Pinots. It seemed overly dominated by cherries. As if I was basically drinking a cherry. Maybe I'll give it another shot, but probably not. There are just too many excellent options out there.

October 27, 2013 - Pop n pour. The wine looks Purple colored but lighter than previous vintages which looked like a syrah. The legs are Fast. It smells like Cherry, Chocolate, Alcohol/Hot, and Charcoal. It tastes like Dark Cherry, Cranberry, and Espresso. The body is Medium with high acidity. The wine has Angular texture. The wine finishes Long, probably the longest finish is years but the overall flavor profile is not enjoyable. Disappointing.

After an hour in the glass this settled down and was less abrasive. Points adjusted to reflect such. Chalky limestone minerals evolved mid palate. Still a very masculine pinot.
