  November 24, 2022 - Broad shouldered but not over the top. Racy acidity some peanut butter, herbs. Different aroma than Burg but lovely in its own right.

  July 11, 2022 - The Ramey Wine Cellar "Platt Vineyard" 2012 Sonoma Coast is not really a Cool Climate representative, but a wine from a renowned house. Then, as now, it was all too much for me. In contrast to Monte Bello, where that was also the case, but coherent and sexy, this is ostentatious with lots of cassis, some morning urine, banana, cabbage, wood. No, I didn't like drinking this.

  November 13, 2021 - 2012 Platt Chardonnay is phenomenally shining now. Light, crisp, floral, minuscule amounts of oak just enough to bring out the butter at the end. This is a perfect balance of New Oaken Butter Napa style with a fusion of the light floral eccentric french style. Drink now - end of 2022. Pairs phenomenally well with sushi, server cold and let it warm up to add depth and change to the wine.
