December 20, 2019 - Eastside Tasting Group End of Year Extravaganza (Newcastle, WA): Well this is a heck of a way to start an epic tasting. Apart from a paucity of bubbles, there was very little showing the age of this wine. Surprisingly gentle, mineral, the obligatory toasty brioche notes. Quite delicate and subtle.

December 6, 2019 - I have to say that having had many DP1990s I expected much more from Krug. Beautiful golden yellow color demonstrating how evolved this champagne is. Fine bubbles much more vivacious than in the DPs that I've had to date. However on the palate and nose citrus and pink grapefruit were dominant without much depth. Long finish but not the complexity I was looking forward to. 2 more bottles left so will retry this in few months and see if this bottle was an aberration.

July 27, 2019 - Fully mature or even a bit past it, there’s plenty of that Krug toast and caramel. Modest bubbles, good acidity and depth. Yet like so many 1990 Champagnes, there’s a lack of brightness and freshness even given its fairly advanced age.

June 18, 2019 - After a few decidedly old and tired bottles, this 750ml was fresh as a daisy and just signing. The 90 vintage and Krug's general richness were on display but with great cut and balance.

June 9, 2019 - 60-års dag og blinsmaking: Blind. Tydelig bruning. Appelsinskall, frisk, oksiderte hvite epler, svak cider; høy syre, fin vin men litt for kort og litt for lite kompleks.

June 8, 2019 - Actually guessed this one, the style is very much Krug and the vintage speaks as well; layered wine, lots of butter & toast, creamy and delicious, mature, but in no way declining, freshness and balance intact.

May 4, 2019 - Bob‘s bottle. Compared to the ‘85 this vintage was distinctly fresher are more enjoyable although obviously from the same royal family. Full, rich and deep, decent acidity, complex. Very mature, may even a bit post mature and slightly oxidative.

April 29, 2019 - If you haven’t drank this you need to now. Still alive but has given up a lot of characteristics from younger Krug.
