  February 24, 2016 - Já ouvi de respeitáveis enólofilos que a Terrinha não vinificava brancos com a mesma maestria e nem tão pouco, possuia castas para tal. Que conheçam então este corte de Viosinho, Rabigato, Códega do Larinho e Gouveio. Profuso, cheio, tão amplo e rico que até desfila alguma soberba, tão complexo, que beira o indecifrável. A Punheta de Bacalhau, cuja origem do nome está no desfiar à mão (ou aos punhos) o pescado cru e amassar o conjunto já temperado, não chegou a brigar com o Guru, mas certamente não o elevou ao patamar que a sua degustação sola proporciona. 92

  October 18, 2014 - 2014 New York Wine Experience Trip; 10/14/2014-10/21/2014 (New York City, NY): From a blend of four different indigenous grape varieties, this light yellow-colored wine has a lovely, perfumed nose of lemon zest, wet stones, white flowers and pears. Light-bodied, vibrantly acidic and with nicely integrated alcohol, it delivers citrus and mineral flavors with a hint of vanilla (the latter likely being the result of five months in new French oak). Juicy in the middle and very long on the finish, this Douro white was a real eye-opener for me. It goes to show what can be done in this region when old vines, low yields (1.1 tons per acre) and skilled vinification techniques come together. Drink now-2024.
