April 10, 2021 - No hint of cedar, only decanted for 30 minutes but did run through an aerator. Holding up spectacularly but is at its prime now. Tanins are strong and will remain so, limited sediment but bottle stained.. plums were the overwhelming flavor of the day.

November 26, 2019 - Beautiful, clean wine right now after almost 10 years. Flavors of red/black cherry and plums up front. Mid-palate is full and rich with notes of vanilla, earth, forest floor, leather, and toasty oak. Still firm acidity, prominent tannins, and wonderful long silky finish..love it!

There was plenty of ink, dark fruit and jamminess and reasonable tannins but the experience was repeatedly distracted by the cedar. The wine needs to pull itself together.

August 16, 2019 - Decanted for an hour. Just gorgeous. Nose has a hint of aged funk that gives way to dark fruits, tobacco and leather. Huge body, big and dark. Tannins are still pretty prominent but they take a back seat to the fruit. Could easily age another 5 years. I absolutely love Foley’s Cabs and PS. They always leave you wanting another sip.
