November 16, 2023 - Still going strong and is delightfully structured for a 2012.
October 28, 2019 - Big nose. Lovely. Tannins still a bit evident. This could have easily gone seversl more years. Delightfully big snd complex.
October 18, 2018 - Relatively dark. Lovely red fruit and earth nose. Great mouth feel. Smooth. Well integrated. Lots of acidity. Very fresh yet earthy. Really nice. Long complex finish. Outstanding!
September 29, 2017 - May have hit a bit of a dumb stage. Not a whole lot of expression of any delicate flavors aside from some faint dark fruit and the alcohol. I was a bit sad after this bottle.
August 19, 2017 - I think this one had some green pepper notes less cherry.
November 22, 2015 - Quite a baby at this point, tasting much more powerful than a typical OR pinot. Good balance with acidity and some tannin. Leave this one alone for years still.

August 30, 2014 - Decanted for 3-4 hours. Forward dark fruits on the nose - cherry, blackberry and black currant with undertones of earth, mineral, and spice. Lots of depth and complexity that I can't justify with notes. Supple and juicy on the palate, almost creamy, with chewy tannin and a good backbone of acidity. Lots of length in the finish. There's a lot of structure here but it's balanced well. Should be an absolute gem in a few years.
May 29, 2014 - Interesting wine and good value. Deep magenta color, more body than most pinots, but really nice depth and balance. Gave it a 30 minute decant before diving in. I get a little anise on the nose and dark red fruit, orange zest and some leather on the palate. I got porcini mushrooms as it opened up. Good finish.
