July 14, 2019 - Garnet red in the glass. Perfumed / floral with hints of rosewood. Medium body with some refined tannins, and cloves and cherry on the palate. Lovely finish with some liveliness albeit a bit austere (in a good way).

July 6, 2018 - A pleasant surprise - well balanced, fruity but not overripe, nice acidity cutting through to make it easy to sip. The palates shows nice, fresh fruit components (raspberry, underripe cherry) with a hint of earth and forest. Floral characteristics on the nose along with the fruit and earth.

June 10, 2017 - Three years since my last taste of this wine, and it is as good as ever, perhaps even better. The first thing that comes through is red raspberry, followed by some herbal and floral aromas. The palate is well balanced, and the fruit and floral elements carry through the palate, joined by a touch of damp earth and leaves. This is a joy to drink now, and seems to be entering a much more complex stage of life. Too bad I have already drank almost all of my bottles!

February 20, 2017 - Third of three bottles and drinking outrageously good over three nights. Peak was probably night two. Full, gorgeous aromatics leaned towards black cherry, with loads of stemmy herb and spice. Palate had medium-to-full concentration and excellent structural acidity. Fresh and so balanced. Really played up for it's level. Best bottle from my 3-pack and a good signal that these benefit from a few years in the cellar.

December 31, 2016 - Dark crimson opaque color. Very dull color - murky.
Savory notes. Some baking spice and pepper. Palate is moderate complex with a nice spice driven finish.
