September 16, 2022 - A bit past prime. Stewed fruit. Good age notes.
March 1, 2022 - Went well with sweet Italian sausage in tomato sauce over kale.
January 30, 2022 - Dark cherries, dry leather, mushrooms and some dried herbs. Medium bodied with a medium intense acidity. Silky tannins, completely integrated. Good structure, medium complexity and a beautiful overall balance. Nice medium long and smooth finish. (IG)
December 23, 2021 - Very pretty Chianti Classico Riserva. Color starting to fade to a bit of an brick red-orange hue. Quite herbal and dry as you would expect with a medium length finish. Silky texture and supple mouthfeel that draws you back for another sip. Great with food. Drinking beautifully now, no need to wait
April 9, 2021 - Last of 6. This bottle seemed more advanced than previous bottles. Still quite good with cherry, earthy tannins, but definitely lighter and more resolved than the earlier bottles.

September 15, 2020 - Opened at 4:30 pm for dinner at 7. Firm and tannic, but very tasty. 100% Sangiovese. Floral nose. Earthy with excellent bite on the finish.
July 14, 2020 - Popped and poured.
The wine could use 30 minutes of decanting...but it is in great shape. Smells of cherries, oregano, tobacco. Great tastes of dark sour cherries, balsamic and a touch of tobacco. Nice acid and tannins. Long, smooth finish.
I have one more...wish I had a case.
May 11, 2020 - In a great place. Took a long time for the oak to integrate, but it has. Delicious. Time to drink these. Acids are softening.
February 11, 2020 - Drinking well, but definitely time to drink. Soft on the pallet, easy tannins, still some good fruit.
