December 27, 2022 - Medium-light in weight, almost creamy in texture, lemon drop aromas and flavors. This is a beautiful wine that seems to be at its peak now. Cellared since original release.

August 27, 2017 - Still needs quite some time to open the flavors. Liked it most on day 2 and only moderately cooled. Then the wine show subtle flavors, like hints of lime and exotic fruits. Very elegant style.

June 7, 2016 - Light straw yellow, slight green reflection. Open nose, primarily citrus fruit, peach, subtle green herbal notes, a little beeswax. On palate, subtle sweet start, quite rich texture with soft acidity and finishes dry. In a very nice spot and was commendable pairing with sushi.

July 31, 2014 - Kräftiges gelb. Typische Riesling-Nase nach reifen Pfirsichen, Aprikosen, schöne würzige Note, wunderbare Säure, allerdings ohne die ganz große Klasse und Rasse.

September 21, 2013 - Flight 5, Germany - Robert Weil, Wine 3 (non-blind): Tasted at the winery. “VDP.Erste Lage” according to the new 2012 VDP Classification. The wine offered peach, pineapple, some yellow plum and mineral notes on the nose. On the palate the wine showed lemon, peach, some yellow plum and mineral notes, paired with high well-integrated acidity and very good length. A clean, very precise, well-balanced, very well made Riesling. A great wine!
