  August 31, 2014 - A nice restaurant value on a very very limited list at Macaroni Grill Edina. If you're choosy, Mac Grill isn't a bad little restaurant for a quick inexpensive meal in a nice setting. Just don't order anything too difficult for a chain like fish. The wine list had 3 Pinot Grigios? Oh well, this wine was a relative little gem at $36 on this limited list / $15 retail and a good match for their red sauce dishes. This seems a tad modern in its approach but still showed decent transparency of fruit and was a pleasant surprise over all on tough list. Wish they offered BYOB but they don't. 14.5% AlC I asked them to chill it a bit before bringing it to the table which I'm sure was a smart move as places like this usually serve reds at 70 degrees plus.

  November 25, 2013 - I was with other wine subscription forum for last few years and I really neglected this site. I will try to post many wines as possible from my memory. This one I bought for $15 aussie dollar, Colour was fairly concentrated dark red colour, First night it was abit harsh, on the second night it really opened up. Nose of cola, Italian earth, herbs, cherries. On the mouth about medium bodied, alittle too sweet for my taste and acidic. Very good for $15 but not tempting enough to grab another bottle. If somebody served this in a restaurant, I would be happy to drink it.
