December 31, 2016 - Part of the NYE 2016 carnage

September 2, 2016 - This wine is delicious across a range of temperatures. When it's cooler, it's about exotic citrus; when it's warmer, it's a great expression of stone fruit along with just a touch of that fuzzy backpalate that Rousanne is known for. Either way, the nose is so aromatic, everything I love about whites made from Southern Rhone varietals and, for my money, one of the best examples of such a wine made Stateside.

August 5, 2016 - Deep straw color. Floral nose. Silky, medium body.
Well balanced. Mostly floral notes and light citrus with spice and slightly alkaline minerality on the finish. Easy drinking.

June 25, 2016 - Popped and poured. This is a medium yellow wine with notes of flowers and honeycomb on the nose. In the mouth, this is tangy but a bit flabby in the middle, leaving a finish of an almost spicy character. Overall, this is okay but is missing some freshness of prior bottles. Drinking the whole bottle solo is a bit tiresome, so I would recommend sharing this wine with a group (and drinking up soon). 89 points.
