September 28, 2021 - A slightly hazy evening prevents a proper analysis. But this was a truly majestic bottle of Barolo. Aged, complex, lovely mushroom tertiary flavours complementing the fruit and herbs. Everything in balance, just brilliant.

October 19, 2018 - Reviewing 2009 Barolo (2nd Event) (Mario's House - Madrid): Wine obtained from five hectares located in La Morra. Although I prefer it on the palate, I liked its refined aromas of strawberries in yogurt and cherry pie.
Delicious on the palate with flavors of candied cherries (fruits on dark chocolate), milk chocolate, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ... all wrapped in silk. A barolo of great delicacy, almost a Barbaresco.

Delicioso en boca con sabores a cerezas confitadas (frutas de Aragón), chocolate con leche, canela, clavo, nuez moscada, ... todo envuelto en seda. Un barolo de una gran delicadeza, casi un Barbaresco.

September 24, 2017 - Lovely classical Barolo. In contrast to some
Comments I found it neither overly tannic nor stewed. Well integrated tannins, good fruit a little cherry, some (pleasant) earthy mushroom aromas.

November 2, 2014 - Unbelievably tannic, not very hopeful for this in the cellar.

September 19, 2013 - Wine Adventure - Alto-Adige, Valpolicella, Soave, Bolgheri, Barbaresco & Barolo; 9/11/2013-9/20/2013 (Italy): Nose of earth, mushroom and black cherry. After about 10 mins., adds a strong caramel note. On the palate the texture was very thin, tannins were not bold like typical Barolo and only medium acidity (perhaps the vintage?). Red cherry flavors with a mid-palate of loamy earth and a short finish of caramel. This wine was too watery in the mouth.
