April 24, 2019 - The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like mushroom, petrol, smokey bacon and black currant (cassis). It tastes like blueberry, red currant and espresso. The body is medium. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

January 30, 2018 - Dark berries and some herbs and spices in the bouquet. On the palate juicy red berries, some ok bell pepper and autumn forest. The wine improved considerably since 2015 and will continue to do so, because this note was written after it was uncorked 4 days ago. 87+?

    December 11, 2017 - Merlot 52%, Cabernet Sauvignon 44% and Petit Verdot 4%

Medium to full body, deep garnet color. Delicate wild dried fruits and floral aroma complements by tobacco and cedar wood. Continues to same soft and rounding palate with dewberry, black currant, bitter cherry and lingering dried plum finish. Excellent wine, modesty powerful and rich, complex and balanced, live acidity, silky tannins. Food friendly, best match is rice dishes, tasted with stuffed peppers. Serve 18º - 22º. Open at least six hours in advance. Still young but very enjoyable, drink now and next eight years.

May 19, 2017 - Fun to look at different “pro” reviews on this wine… i see one that calls this wine “traditional” and another that calls it “big, powerful, concentrated.” no wonder consumers are so confused by wine… this wine is deeply colored, ruby rim… on the nose moderate plus intensity, lots of juicy, crunchy, dark dark fruits, dusty minerality, background oak influence. on the palate high acids, nice mid palate depth, moderate amount of firm tannins that are mostly integrated, moderate alcohol. balanced wine with good length, very good intensity, ok complexity. impressive wine for it’s appellation… traditional style bordeaux with bright and crunchy fruit (nice to taste merlot that isn’t overripe or too sweet)… i’d drink this now.

May 8, 2017 - This big and powerful claret is a structured and complex wine that will age but also accessible now due to its sweet tannin and richness of fruit. Scented and clearly Merlot dominated.
