May 2, 2023 - Medium gold. Medium plus on the nose, straw, honey, butter, almond, vanilla, dried apricot, toast, biscuit, cream. Takes time to open up. Developing. Dry, medium minus acidity, medium alcohol, medium plus body. Medium plus intensity with flavours of apple, butter, peaches, hay. Medium finish.
Balanced, good complexity, intensity. I say very good. But I’m expecting much better than just very good. Perhaps it has past its peak. Drink now, no further aging. -
