March 13, 2018 - Big and bold, but nice acidity that keeps it fresh and crisp. At its best when served fresh enough.
    Great bottle !

January 18, 2018 - First impression too much alcohol on the nose? Wrong, it is appropriate for the fruit, and surprisingly the acidity. Tannins in my bottle are not cheek approximating, more cheek drying. Of course it will make 2020, maybe 2030. In our hot climate needs to be chilled down to 18C. Give me some medium rare steak and I think we are talking.

April 22, 2015 - I wish this had come with instructions and I wish the instructions said "Do Not Open until 2020." That might even be rushing it. This is clearly outstanding, and clearly it's going to be worth waiting for, but drinking it now is not a pleasant experience. Two hour decant on night one, nose shut down, mildly floral I suppose, and then the mouthfeel is a bit of cranberry, some smoke and -- HOLY *%*&ING HELL -- tannins so gravitationally strong they almost pulled the insides of my cheeks together. Night Two: barely even settled down. Basically the same. Night Three: smoother, but those can't still be tannins, can they? (they are). Night Four: still can hold its head up high. This is amazing. I can tell this is going to be crazy wonderful but I'll revisit in 2025 just to be sure.
