March 24, 2021 - Lunch at Le Bil (Le Bilboquet): Pop and pour. Fresh and young. Balanced fruit and acidity. Solid but not the top Chevy.

February 26, 2020 - At Corella Restaurant, Woolloongabba. This wine has a correct pale green gold colour and a nose of white peach, lemon and lime with touches of spearmint and white flowers. The palate is medium weight with lovely elegance and fine long mineral finish and real grip and drive. In perfect shape for age.

May 25, 2019 - Beautifully rich nose of green apples, citrus, and a hint of tropical fruit. Good acidity with flavors of lemon and apples on the palate. Silky texture and quite full. Long finish.

June 30, 2015 - HDH Auction - quite a bit of sulphur on the nose along with dry lemons. Color is almost transparent. Palate is quite crystalline with very low fruit.

June 27, 2015 - HDH auction tasting at Tru (Chicago, IL): Very, very pale colour. A moderate whiff of sulphur on the nose. Slightly floral with some slight brown spice notes as well. Despite the acidity, this is quite round. Clearly a bit of sweetness and some ripe white fruits on the palate. Shows a slight bit of oak as well which I imagine ought to integrate with a bit of time. I do like the balance between ripeness, minerality, and acidity here.

June 27, 2015 - HDH Auction (Tru - Chicago, IL): Smokey, flinty, & lush nose. The palate was rich with peaches and tropical fruits. Nice balance on the finish with some nice minerality. Should be nice(r) with age.

February 28, 2015 - La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Metropolitan Pavilion - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Larger and bigger. Apple, baked apple and brown spice that seems to start with a touch of sweetness, then finishes with savory power. Good young. I look forward to trying Cabotte.

February 28, 2015 - 2014 La Paulee Grand Tasting (New York): Whiff of SO2 on the nose, initially, then fabulous, elegant intensity, excellent balance, long finish. Beautiful extract, nice touch of saline. Gorgeous wine.
