March 6, 2021 - Another wonderful experience. Extreme balanced and elegant in the bouquet and palate. As good as a Meursault village can get. Marvelous! Can drink or keep.

January 30, 2021 - Was not super aromatic and expressive initially, but after 30 minutes or so it exploded. Fragrant lemon peel and flesh aromas with a huge amount of crushed flint too. Some clementine notes appeared as it warmed up more and had been open for close to two hours. Very energetic palate with that same lemon, though more of a lemon zest rather than whole peels, and again with the intense minerality. Super expansive on the palate and the finish just keeps going and going. Texturally exciting too with the balance of ripe fruit coating the whole palate and then a wave of acidity cleansing it all away. Very delicious.

December 11, 2020 - Wow, Coche lives up to the hype. Had over several hours to see the evolution. Reductive on the nose, heavy matchbox but still underlying acidic tones that’s rarely achieved. On the palate, tart at first but balanced. A glass 2 hours later...wow nose was still similar but honey on the palate total surprise from what to expect from the nose. Mind blown. Don’t know how this compares to other vintages but what an experience

December 4, 2020 - A great bottle. Color was slightly gold on opening, which had me worried, but no issues. Excellent intensity and richness.

November 23, 2020 - Crazy funky nose as some other notes mention. Opened and drank over roughly 6 hours. Had a slight oxidized style to it, it was a bit over powering at first, but really mellowed out over the course of the day. Incredibly rich style of cooked lemons and wood. Overall I can 'understand' the hype around this wine/producer, but not sure if it's truly worth the entry price, especially for a village level

October 28, 2020 - 95 for bouquet and 92 for the palate. Sublime aroma from initial reductive popcorn to layers of mineral, lime skins, citrus and floral touches. The palate maybe a little fell short compare with the intoxicating aroma. But it is still a gorgeous Coche Dury Meursault. Ready to drink now.

September 24, 2020 - Popped and poured. Citrus, spice and flint on the nose. Beautiful texture, concentrated and chalky with a citrus infused acidic spine and copious amounts of dry extract. Paired with a lobster ravioli dish that was a sublime match.

September 5, 2020 - Delicious fresh pineapple and citrus fruits, flint stone, sharp acidity, & minerals. It is the texture of this wine that is always so appealing.

January 31, 2020 - Burgundy best of village blind (La Trompette (London)): More reduction (than the 2013 before it), matchstick. The real deal, long and zesty, mineral and doesn't quit. Guessed this as Coche 12 as knew it was in the line-up. Yes this is good, especially for a village and was (clearly) my WOTN.

January 8, 2020 - Just another outstanding experience. Pop and poured and was firing on all cylinders.classic coche nose and great minerality. Everything you could hope for. Outshined a bottle of 11 roulot charmes for much of the night.
