December 1, 2023 - Portland Paulee (Oregon Historical Society, Portland OR): Looking at others notes, I'm glad at least this bottle was sound. Still, it did seem a hint tired as the tones of custard, nectarines, red apples, pears, buttered toast, vanilla beans, and a hint of oak are working well together, but just a little faded. The Medium bodied feel shows off good balance with well-integrated, Medium acidity. I would drink this up if I owned bottles. This possibly could be a bit of a unicorn looking at the notes, but time is not in this wine's favor. That said, this bottle was very good right now and enjoyable.

February 13, 2021 - Drank during lockdown with seafood. Delicious. Took time to open up but long buttery finish with hints of fruit. A little thin but very drinkable

April 26, 2020 - Last of three. As with the bottle before, it was not as bad as the first. In fact, It was bordering on drinkable. But it was also premoxed. Tasting it next to a very good 2012 Morgeot Les Fairandes from the same producer put it into relief. Ah well. I think that I have 7 bottles of 1012 left, 5 of which are close st Marc. I'll keep pulling corks. Hopefully I'll find some more survivors.

April 24, 2020 - Tried another bottle as the last was so advanced. This one wasn't as bad in color, smell and taste... but clearly not good. premox sucks. I am just going to keep opening 2012 and 2013 until I hit something good.

April 23, 2020 - Why didn't I listen to dream?! Same experience as il_diavolo. Drinkable but way to evolved in color, smell and taste. Too bad. I am going to open all of my J-M Pillot CM without guilt now.

February 7, 2020 - I opened this one because others had suggested that it might be going over the hill. That is definitely not the case for the bottle I opened. It's fine to drink now, and I am inclined to leave my other bottle for another two years or so. It's a nicely balanced wine, more mineral than fruit, with a chalkiness that I might usually associate with Chablis.
