April 27, 2019 - Mid ruby. Lovely peppery nose, good crunchy fruit. A delight as always. Plenty of interest. ***1/2
December 10, 2016 - - Ruby color and aromas of raisin and has flavours of raisin with a medium finish.
September 14, 2016 - Rubied; brambly fruit, iron filings, cinders; soft & supple, dark fruits, easy going mid-palate; brooding, pushy finish. Drink up.
February 16, 2016 - Nice bramble fruit aromas with a little hint of almost sweet tobacco. Juicy black fruit and the same tobacco character on the entry. Earthy and rocky with good grip and excellent acidity. There is a little sour fruit on the finish, reminds me of cooked rhubarb.

January 23, 2016 - Inexpensive Spanish Wines (SF Wine Trading Company): Light red. Herbs and anise on the nose. Light to medium weight with good flesh. Peppery black fruit, spice, blood orange, good acidity. Interesting and good. It brought to mind some Corsican reds.
December 20, 2015 - Stinky nose -- barnyard, volcanic ash -- but dark fruit, mineral on palette. Medium-bodied, good balance. Great contrast, fun, different wine.
