March 2, 2020 - Light and bright. Held up superbly these 9 years. Wonderful “little” wine.

April 12, 2014 - Second day was smooth and lasting on the tongue. Definite decanting for several hours needed. Yet for the price, a good and enjoyable everyday wine.

Good to have a few extra in the cellar when needed.

March 22, 2014 - Medium red color with purple tinges, lost of fresh fruit fragrances including plums and dark cherries. Medium body, firm acidity, very low tannins, reasonably long finish. Meant to be consumed young, would accompany many different dishes, would be an excellent summer wine. At $11, an excellent QPR.

February 22, 2014 - We followed the Cannonau immediately with this wine. I didn't take enough time to appreciate it. It was a nice follow on to the cannon au with a bit more astringency and back end bite but a solid wine. Next day, bit of tobacco, coffee.
The wine looks violet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle.

February 21, 2014 - Sour cherries and strawberries, this is a lively and fresh wine, but it's full of flavor. I like the green pepper and chestnut accents. Not super complex, but quite pleasant.
