April 5, 2024 - Colour: Ruby to garnet with a slight brickish tinge on the miniscus
Nose: Strong blackcurrant with a hint of oak and vanilla
Palate: Bright blackcurrant with a hint of white pepper, oak and grippy tannins... Even at 13 years old
    Finish: Long, oak, black currant

Delicate, especially for a Bordeaux blend, but very pleasant nonetheless

April 22, 2022 - Had in 2022. Definitely recommend letting it open up.

    Nose: plum, figs
Palate: M- length, good acid M, tannins still there at M
    Tastes like plum, raisins, fig.

Overall good wine a little disappointed for a MM.

February 28, 2022 - This was a bit of let down. 2011 was a terrible vintage and this usually exceptional bottle was at the end of the line. Medium garnet. Stewed fruits and cedar, medium bodied, tannins are all but gone but still retaining some decent acidity. Silky mouthfeel and long finish speak of the pedigree, but fruit concentration is well and truly lacking. At this price range just pay the extra cash for a good year

December 2, 2021 - Not great Bordeaux blend. Too light and more towards red fruits. Medicinal characteristics coming. QPR poor.

October 5, 2020 - Gave this wine another 24hrs air. Presented with more depth and interest but still short on fruit and flavour. Classy and elegant but very dry.
