July 17, 2021 - Excellent, another gorgeous Coonawarra cabernet. 14% alc. Very typical of variety from region. Modestly priced for quality.
Colour: dense black berries
Bouquet: rich plush red berries with spice and mint
Palate: mint, sweet spicey plums and black currants, black pepper, cedar, licirce and charcoal, a touch of greenness, balanced by fruit, soft fine-grained French oak and clean but subtle acid. Medium body, though full flavoured and emphasis is on elegance. Long clean finish. Great mouthfeel and texture.
Still drinks excellently on second night.
