June 7, 2020 - Appearance: mid garnet with legs and some residual

On nose : mid+ intensity, dark fruit : cherry, sweet red flora, mint, leather, sweet tobacco leaf, black pepper, roasted nuts, some spiciness, balance and elegant

On palate : med+ flavour intensity, med acidity, sweet dark fruit : cherry, leather, tobacco leafiness, very smooth and fine tannin, med+ body, high alcohol but not burning, soft black pepper spiciness and mineral savoury with med finishing.

I am not a Grenache lover but this wine is an exception and this is absolutely an elegant one. The leather flavour is so balance with the sweet tobacco leafiness. I love the elegancy of this wine as the wine is really in premium quality. This wine is best match with lamb chop and I suggest to drink it now and enjoy the peak. No regrets, Cheers!

January 17, 2020 - In a great place - best bottle of this I have had - savoury nose with hints of lavender and cherries, fading super fine tannins - lovely elegant fruit, hints of oak and acid and perhaps some forest floor around the edges - definitely on the downward slope but drinking superbly now

June 9, 2019 - No Decant, lovely perfumed nose of soft cherries, beautiful fruit, cola cube sweetness - super fine dusty tannins and then fine acid and spice giving a lasting long finish - excellent and in it's peak drinking window - 4 fingers

December 23, 2014 - No decant, but impressions after an hour - leather and some sous bois on the nose - resolved tannins - blackberry, good acid and hints of oak, great length and moutfeel - this will continue to build look again in a year - very good

September 25, 2013 - Big smoky lift to the aroma coupled with sweet blackberry fruit. It is dense and plush in the mouth but not too heavy or extracted. There are some meat and tar notes and it finishes with sweet tannins and posseses excellent length of flavour.
