March 15, 2024 - A little embarrassed to say I pulled this wine up by purchase price! Pizza night. Good pizza, great wine! Maybe too nice for pizza. Beautiful, no decant 5-10mins in glass, glory. Ripe fruit. Not sure I’d mistake for chambolle, but really great gamay. Been drinking down my bojo’11-17s and keep saying what’s the rush?

June 21, 2022 - Slow ox'ed for 11 h in wine fridge then decanted off fine sediment and places in wine fridge. Now 2h after decant. Aromas of lovely tart cherries and raspberries, baking spices, herbs,ba slight but if bubblegum, a bit of sous bois. Palate w tart cherries, raspberries, a hint of bubblegum, herbs, and a hint of earth. Medium body w mild tannins on midpalate. Nice, juicy acids. Excellent concentration of flavors. Nice lovely finish. The nose is better than the palate with more richness and less austerity. I wonder if it needs some more time for the palate to catch up. Still this is really nice.

April 25, 2020 - Developing nose, hint of some VA, earthy, red fruit. Tightens up in the glass. Cloudy, dried herbs, more cherries in the mouth. Med + acidity, good grip from tannins in finish. Benefits from decanting, can easily be kept in the cellar for several more years. Great value, very good wine.

June 9, 2019 - Dekantert 1 t. Brunlig kant på farge. Virker moden. Mørke kirsebær og blomster. Bløt munnfølelse og lett tørrende. Litt kort. Tynn.

February 11, 2018 - Decent if rather muted and darkly shaded Gamay fruit. Thinnish, with biting alcohol and ample acidity and tannins. I can't see this ever really coming together, for my palate. Way overpriced if this bottle is representative. 13% abv
